A 32-year-old woman has been dealing with sciatica for the past six months. She experiences pain in her lower hip that extends down to her left knee. Initially, the pain occurred once or twice a day, but it has become constant over the past month. The pain is most intense in the morning after waking up but lessens as she goes about her daily activities, although it remains throughout the day, limiting her movement somewhat. She described the sensation as feeling stiff and restricted.

Using a psychological approach, I asked her if there were any stressors before her ailment began. She mentioned that her children's nanny had left six months ago, leading to increased stress as she had to manage both her job and taking care of her children. This situation made her feel restricted because she wanted to continue working but couldn't due to family responsibilities. She also expressed envy towards her husband, who could continue working while she had to quit her job.

During our sessions, she was talkative and competitive in both her work and home tasks. She mentioned discomfort with high necks and felt chilly. I prescribed Naja 200/1 dose in a 100 ml aqueous solution, and she experienced mild fever on the second day, which lasted a few hours and then subsided. Her pain improved, occurring only in the mornings for 5-10 minutes at a mild intensity. For the next 15 days, I prescribed Xentene, and during the second follow-up, she reported significant improvement, with pain occurring only twice in two weeks.
